Here are our 5 recommendations of places to go glamping in the UAE:

  1. Mysk Moon Retreat, Sharjah

  2. Starlight Camp, Dubai

  3. Damani Lodges, Hatta, Dubai

  4. Long Beach Campground, Ras Al Khaimah

  5. The Retreat, Fujairah

1. Mysk Moon Retreat, Sharjah

Surrounded by views of the Al Faya mountains, Mysk Moon Retreat offers luxury glamping with a hands-on camping touch for the best of both worlds. Perfect for the whole family, the retreat has ten single-bed domes, two one-bedroom tents and four family tents.

The dome tents have all the amenities that you will need to have a very comfortable stay; especially the luxury of your own private barbecue. Fresh ready-to-grill food is available to order and you can prepare it all in your tent, while still enjoying the beauty of the landscape. If you’re looking for a little extra luxury, make sure you book one of the domes with a private pool!

2. Starlight Camp, Dubai

Whether you are looking for a glamping spot to experience with friends or family, Starlight Camp is calling your name! You can enjoy your stay here in a bubble tent with a transparent roof that allows you to stargaze long into the night. Extras include a small fridge, board games, a Bluetooth speaker and a barbeque to really make you feel at home!

One of our favourite things about this glamping spot is that your furry friends are also welcome! Starlight Retreat offers special pet-friendly tents for the whole family to enjoy including the four-legged ones.

3. Damani Lodges, Hatta

Do you happen to find watching the clouds roll by the mountains an enjoyable experience? If you said yes, then you should head over to Damani Lodge for your glamping staycation.

In each lodge, there is a wooden terrace deck that gives you a view of the stunning Hatta mountains. You can really feel at home here, with amenities such as modern bathrooms, Wi-Fi, TV, as well as tea facilities (or coffee-making machines if you’re a caffeine lover) provided for you.

You have three accommodation options to choose from here - standard lodges with space for two adults, standard plus lodges with space for two adults and one child, and suites designed to sleep up to two adults and two children.

4. Longbeach Campground, Ras Al Khaimah

Longbeach Campground is a great choice if you are going glamping with kids in tow. There’s so much for the whole family to enjoy such as water sports, beach volleyball, and archery. For the kids, there’s a small petting farm, karate lessons, face painting and more.

There’s a variety of accommodation options to choose from here including quaint beach tents to big safari tents, panoramic dome tents overlooking the sea and even luxury sunset terrace suites.

5. The Retreat, Fujairah

If you are a nature lover, then The Retreat is the perfect glamping spot for you. As its name implies, The Retreat allows you to disconnect from the fast-paced life of technology and reconnect to nature with its strategic location in the foothills of the Hajar mountains.

The entire camp is operated using natural resources and environmentally friendly ideologies to minimise environmental consequences. One of these ideologies is the use of solar-powered water heaters. You can enjoy activities such as canoeing, walking tours and off-site hiking during your stay.
