If the party life isn’t for you and you are looking to explore a misunderstood Emirate, then we definitely recommend Sharjah. It’s a dry Emirate but don’t let that put you off, the hotels here are gorgeous and serene - it’s the ultimate staycay spot to unwind and take in some of the attractions like the Classic Car Museum or go for a stroll along the corniche. Our favourite place to visit in Sharjah is the rain room art installation and the House of Wisdom where you can while away an afternoon reading books from the shelves in comfy chairs. Sharjah is a lovely spot to experience the more traditional side of the UAE.
